We believe that spirituality is intelligible and understandable. We've questioned everything and come up with some core beliefs, that doesn't preclude us from helping you wrestle with yours. We believe that God wants you to be happy, health, whole and complete. The blueprint for making that happen is found within you.

Our Story
Agape Renaissance Spiritual Center was founded by the late Rev. Dr. George Jackson and the late Lucy Burkeem who were founding members of the Living Truth Center and studied under Rev. Johnnie Coleman.
Today the center continues under the leadership of Rev. Sandra D. Bishop and Assistant Minister Aurelia Barney.

Agape Renaissance is lovingly lead by a dynamic duo. Rev. Sandra promises to push the envelope by challenging you to step up to all that is possible. The music loving Rev Aurelia can find a message in any lyric, poem or story.

Spiritual Leader
A philosophy major in college Sandra loves to ponder life's questions. As a former radio and TV host she has spent plenty of time in front of camera's and audiences. Seeing the light bulb come on excites her.

Assistant Minister & Board Pres.
A retired nurse and proud grandmother who spends her time reading and riding the highways. Her love and presences is always felt.
